Originally from New Hampshire, Heather has been with CBI since August 2003. She graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. in Environmental Studies in 1994 and earned a M.A. in Biology from William Paterson University in 1998 and M.S. in Geography from Oregon State University in 1999. Her past research and recent work at CBI has focused on predicting effects of landscape change on vertebrate populations with spatially explicit models.  She lives in Corvallis with her husband Chris and in her free time enjoys gardening, knitting, reading, baking, and walking with her two dogs.
