Dr. Tosha Comendant will present a poster on CBI's work with Landscape Conservation Cooperatives at the Building Climate Solutions Conference hosted by the National Council for Science and the Enviornment.

The 14th National Conference and Global Forum on Science, Policy and the Environment: Building Climate Solutions will engage over 1,200 key individuals from a wide range of sectors who will develop strategies and tactics that advance solutions to minimize the impacts of anthropogenic climate change. This will include mitigation solutions to minimize the consequences of climate change and adaptation solutions for those consequences that cannot be avoided.

The conference will be organized around the major areas where climate actions are necessary:

  1. The Built Environment – where and how we live
  2. Agriculture and Natural Resources – how we provision ourselves and how we affect the life support services that we depend upon.
