Gwynne Corrigan, M.S.
Director of Communications, Project Manager, Team Lead- Communication & Engagement

CBI recently hosted an internal presentation by Priyanka Bista and Rajeev Goyal, Esq., co-founders of KTK-BELT. Within the presentation, Priyanka and Rajeev explain their innovative mission to catalyze new models of biodiversity conservation and environmental learning in eastern Nepal. KTK-BELT works with teachers, farmers, youth, and women to create a 'Vertical University' that will span from Koshi Tappu Wildlife Sanctuary (67 m.) to Mount Kanchenjunga (8,586 m.), the third tallest peak in the world. This "living classroom" spans some of Nepal's most remarkable plants, birds, and mammals, which are in critical need of protection.

We would like to share this important and wonderful presentation with all of you, as well. Please find the recorded presentation here and visit KTK-BELT's website to learn more about this innovative and fascinating endeavor.
