Incorporating climate change into state and transition model VDDT models

The purpose of this agreement is to develop a process for making Vegetation Dynamics Development Tool (VDDT) climate smart using MC1 output.  This project incorporates climate change into the state and transition model VDDT models using three landscapes.  This will serve as platforms for methods development, application, and refinement.

Climate change considerations will be incorporating into VDDT using the dynamic global vegetation model MC1 that is used to model climate change impacts on vegetation and ecosystem dynamics. CoPIs are Becky Kerns and Miles Hemstrom (USFS PNW) with funding from (USDA Forest Service) WWETAC (Western Wildlands Environmental Threat Assessment Center).
