Updates to the PAD-US (CBI Edition): Establishment dates for temporal analysis

Kai Foster, manager of the PAD-US (CBI Edition) a national database of protected lands in the United States, presents updates that include the addition of establishment dates.  The database portrays the nation’s protected areas with standardized spatial geometry and numerous valuable attributes on land ownership, management designations,  conservation status and now establishment dates.  Kai shows how to use these features to conduct temporal analysis and provide a metric for land conservation in the US.  This webinar focuses on federal land held by USDA Forest Service, National Parks Service, US Fish & Wildlife Service and Bureau of Land Management.
