Earth observations play a key role in planning and monitoring for the achievement of a land degradation neutral world. Trends.Earth is an example of how tools can bring together the power of earth observations, cloud computing, and user inputs to democratize access to information for decision making. In this presentation we go over how countries are tracking land degradation, the datasets used, the indicators, and how a novel tool is supporting the assessments.
